Ministry doesn’t support initiative to declare over 1 mln rbl cash

MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Ministry has not supported an initiative of the State Duma, parliament’s lower house, Deputy Anatoly Vasserman that individuals should declare over 1 million rubles of cash, a spokesperson for the ministry said late on Monday.

“The Finance Ministry does not support the initiative… the initiative does not correspond with the financial and economic policy and interests of the people who have the right to choose the way to save their money,” the person said.
